As the title Water shows us, this piece illustrates the beautiful shimmer and flow of water and its translucence. Since it is in the shape of a vase, it is interesting to view the piece by rotating it as though it were on a pottery wheel (or walking around the piece). In doing so, you start to see the endless movement of the flow of water, and the sparkling of the scales made of silver wire appears like the glimmering surface of the water. The beetle as an accent also adds a contrast in hue, standing out with bold greens and reds against the light blue background, but at the same time, has the contrasting effect of stillness against the flowing movement of the water. It therefore further accentuates the movement of the water.
